RV6 wingtips

When we were getting close to completing N999SN, one thing we really didn't like on the RV was those wingtips!  The aerobatic planes have flat wingtips and look neat, so Syd built flat wingtips for our RV6.  This is what we found out.   Your plane will roll faster and looked better, but would it make the RV go faster?  The only way to find out is to put the original wingtips on and compare.                                                                                     

Syd was curious as to what the airflow was doing around the flat wingtips.  Add a little oil and go flying.
