Access Panels
By adding these two panels, one on each side of your forward skin, you obtain
access to the backside of your instrument panel and also you are able to buck
all the rivets on the skin without getting into the cockpit. The dimensions of
the panel are roughly, 8 inches tall, 8 inches wide, the short side is 5 inches where you angle the panel up. Basically, you are 2
inches from the subpanel,
instrument panel and longeron, keeping in mind that you'll lose some of your
space with the backing plate where you install your nutplates. But before
cutting your panel, put your wingscreen on and mark it, leaving enough room for
your fiberglass fairing. These could be used on all of the RV series aircraft.
