Bruce Crain and his Q200

Bruce selected the Q200 because it looked neat.  With no help from the designer, he built the plane in 3 1/2 years.  Bruce got help with the fiberglass work from  Gary Voss who had built a Q2, LongEze and other composite aircraft.  He's using a Continental 0-200 that was rebuilt with the help of Ron Decker using 9.9 to 1 compression pistons and flow balanced  the cylinders.  The prop is an Aymar-Demuth.  Cruise is 170 MPH. Top speed 200 MPH at 3200 RPM.  TT: 180
